Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Our promise: 14 days, no questions
If you change your mind, we refund you in full within 14 days of buying:
- your first subscription to a Mimir paid plan (APPRENTICE+, WORLDSMITH+ or LOREMASTER);
- a content pack;
- a collection of packs;
- a Mimir AI credit bundle (for credits you have not used; see below).
You do not need to give a reason.
How to ask
- In Mimir, open Marketplace → Billing and choose Request a refund. This opens an email to us with the details we need. Or email info@shieldwallgames.co.uk yourself.
- Tell us what you bought, roughly when, and the email address on your Mimir account.
- We reply within 2 working days, and refund to the card you paid with. Banks usually show it within 5 to 10 working days.
What a refund does
A refund reverses the purchase:
| You bought | After the refund |
|---|---|
| A first subscription | The plan ends and your account moves to CORE. Your worlds, files and any credits you bought separately stay. |
| A content pack | The pack's licence ends: it stops updating and cannot be reinstalled. Files it already put on your disk stay there. |
| A collection | Each pack in it loses its licence, as above. |
| A credit bundle | The unused credits from that bundle are removed. You get back the share of the price for the credits you had not used. For example, if you used 100 of 500 credits, you get back 400/500 of the price. |
What it does not cover
- Renewals. The promise covers your first subscription, not later renewals. We email you 15 days before every renewal so it never comes as a surprise, and you can cancel any time before it. If a renewal still caught you out, email us and we will look at it fairly.
- Second and later subscriptions after a refund.
Your legal rights
This promise is in addition to your legal rights. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you also have:
- the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days (for content packs and credit bundles, you agree at checkout to immediate delivery, which ends that legal right; our 14-day promise still applies);
- the right to a repair, replacement or refund if anything you bought is faulty or not as described. That right lasts much longer than 14 days.
Our Terms of Service (section 9) explain both in full.
Cancelling a subscription
Cancelling is separate from a refund. Open Marketplace → Billing → Manage billing details and cancel there. You are not charged again, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
